Upcoming Creative Work : 10.28.2022

Oof, it's been a while. But I wanted to talk about some stuff that I've started working on this past year. Aside from my next novel, I've also picked up some other game/film ideas that I want to flush out. Most importantly, some of this stuff I may put on my application for UBC's Creative Writing program.

Choices : The Other Me

This title is subject to change, but this is the next world I want to explore with a novel, or even a TV show. For now all I will say is that this project explores a world where WW3 isn't about to happen.

Becoming Kiki + Becoming Sasuke :

Dream High will be getting two additional novels! This time, one will focus on Olivia's girlfriend and the other on her mentor. I still want to integrate Cherry into Kiki's novel, but since that one will be more focused on Kiki's world as a publisher, who knows. These will likely be put out before Choices, but I still haven't decided yet.

Global Fighter :

In the interest of working outside of books, I've started working on my narrative game development skills. My personal project is called Global Fighter, inspired by Valorant but with different gameplay mechanics. It likely won't be an actual game, but I want to use it as a springboard to experiment with different game mechanics and learn how to develop various game characters.

ZU :

Lastly, ZU. This title will definitely change, because it's with a team from the UBC Game Dev club. I won't say much, I'll let the letters do all the talking, but for this one I'm the only narrative writer. So I'm excited to see how our game goes and put forward ideas that people can connect with.

That's the brief gist! I'll try and be more frequent with these blog posts, but who knows. It's a work in progress.
